The Kern County Music Educators Association is an organization of music educators from the local area who work to provide services to support all music educators in Kern County. The Association is comprised of members from elementary through university level. This includes band, orchestra, choir, and classroom music teachers. KCMEA promotes music in our schools by providing scholarships, hosting festivals, sponsoring an annual conference, organizing honor group directors’ dinners, disbursing yearly music teachers awards, and providing information about on-going musical events throughout the year.
